Jason Carter has owned, built and managed a billion dollars of Manhattan real estate since 1978.

As sole owner of Finite Construction Co, Inc. and Tracer Construction Corp. he has reconstructed seven National Landmarks in Soho, four buildings (Broadhurst Willows) uptown, the Walter Kerr Theater and 22 Central Park South; new construction includes seven buildings on the Hudson River in Battery Park City and mixed use high-rises in Time Square’s known as the Ritz Plaza (45 stories) and the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza at 48th-49th Streets and Broadway.

Carter Management Corp. has partnered with and consulted with foreign and local municipalities. For example, Carter Management Corp.partnered with the largest bank in Hungary and the largest bank in Austria to co-develop the Danube Financial Center in Budapest. Along 42nd Street in Manhattan,Carter Management Corp. was selected to restore and redevelop seven (7) Broadway theaters, a hotel and movie multiplex.The NYC Industrial Development Corporation issued bonds to finance an expansion of the garment manufacturing industry in one of its Soho buildings.

Jason Carter resides in Manhattan, NY and Westport, CT. He graduated University of Wisconsin in 1971. His hobbies include tennis, yoga, boating, running and scuba diving.He has taken fourteen courses at NYU’s Real Estate Institute and served as an adjunct professor of real estate development.He has consistently donated time and monies to educational institutions and student travels.

Completed sale of Broadhurst Willows, L.P. in central Harlem, four rehabilitated buildings, 119 units.

2004

Purchased 132 Greene Street and rented to Hugo Boss.

2003/2002

As Sponsor, sold all condominiums at the 104 Wooster Street Condominium.

2001/1999

Gut rehabilitated 102-106 Wooster, LLC in the Soho Cast Iron District into commercial and residential condominiums.

1999

Purchased and gut rehabilitated 132 Greene Street Store and leased the store to Hugo Boss.

1998

Purchased 142 Greene Street building, reletting store to Helmut Lang and renewing 3 floors to Ford Modeling Agency

1996

Sold the Ritz Plaza project after building and operating the property since 1988; the Ritz contains 479 residential rentals, 6 floors of commercial space, 2 garages, a health club and restaurant.

1995

Sold the Danube Financial Center development in Budapest Hungary to ABN AMRO bank. This quarter of a mile waterfront along the Danube included approval for four mid-rise office buildings, and a riverside park.

1994/93

Completed leasing and building 300,000 square feet of commercial areas at the Ritz Plaza and Crowne Plaza (to ATT, GSA and American Management Association).

Rented up 479 residences at The Ritz Plaza. Financed and obtained approval of six political parties and department of buildings for five buildings and a public Park along the Danube River, in Budapest, Hungary.

Completed the 850,000 square foot Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Hotel occupies the west blockfront from 48-49th Street. The building contains 3 banquet floors, 3 restaurants, a garage, health club, the 250,000 square foot headquarters for Am. Mgmt. Association, 757 hotel rooms and a sky concierge on the 46th floor.

Builder/Developer of the Year for the Broadhurst Willows project, four rehabilitated buildings in Harlem for 129 low-income families.

1990

Builder/Developer of the Year for Ritz Plaza mixed use apartment building. Opened, rented up and staffed this 45 story high-rise.

1989/88

Acquired land for a blockfront development on Broadway between 48th-49th Street and formulated bulk plans for a mixed use hotel and office building. Commenced demolition of pre-existing buildings and proceeded with construction of the 500,000 square foot mixed use Ritz Plaza. Supervised ongoing infrastructure and superstructure and completed final construction work; prepared monthly budgets and lender requisitions.

1987

Battery Park City Designee for two sites at Albany Street and the Hudson River. Negotiated Master Lease, design, built and sold these 121 condominiums.

Purchased and gut rehabilitated seven National Landmark Buildings in Soho.

1982/81

Purchased and rehabilitated the Walter Kerr Theater, a legitimate Broadway Theater. Purged foundation water with well-point system, reinforced and rebuilt arched proscenium.

Acquired a long term ground lease from the Plaza Hotel for 22 Central Park South. Added two floors and converted the property into luxury apartments and a retail store.
