This federally landmarked building adjoining the Plaza Hotel and across from Central Park and the General Motors Building was gutted, restored and enhanced with two additional floors during its conversion from commercial to residential rental space. The project qualified for exemption and abatement from municipal taxes, and received accelerated depreciation benefits and investment tax credits from the federal government.
